Love the Look, Steal the Style - Freeman's

Nestled at the end of an alley off Rivington in the Lower East Side is Freeman's, located aptly enough at the end of Freeman's Alley.  The restaurant's website describes the design mission as "rugged clandestine Colonial American tavern".  "Colonial American tavern" is a bold statement to make around someone who went to the College of William & Mary in Colonial Williamsburg, the home of tri-cornered hats, Thomas Jefferson impersonators and butter churning.  Freeman's is no Christiana Campbell's, but it is awesome. 

So I've pulled together a little "Love the Look, Steal the Style" in homage to Freeman's.  I took a little liberty with this one and drew my mood board from a particular detail - the taxidermy animals.  Weird, yes, but it works.  There's one particular animal that I thought perfectly suited the challenge due to it's colors aligning perfectly with the colors used at Freeman's...
