Sunday night was the Tony Awards Gala, which I had the pleasure of working on once again this year. I have to say it's so much easier to bounce around the Plaza when you're not 36 weeks pregnant (which was my look of choice, along with really ugly but sensible shoe wear, for last year's Tony Awards Gala).
And the Tony Awards Gala wasn't the only party I threw this month (although it certainly was the biggest) - the duckling's third birthday was Monday, so in the midst of the "big" planning we threw a little shindig at the house.
Here's how I'm feeling right about now.
It's all worth it. To work on the Tony Awards Gala is such an honor, and one that I will never take for granted (and one I certainly hope I get to repeat in years to come). And of course getting to see my little guy wish to be a firefighter while blowing out his birthday candle was priceless.
So lucky. So blessed. So tired.
And more photos from the Tony Awards Gala can be found here and here. (How did I miss Darren Criss?! I'm so mad at myself!)
