I Have An Inanimate Object Problem
Things on my sweaters, things on my walls.
I know that Monday I talked about having a little spring-induced pep in my step (by the way, it's snowing today), but I may have taken the white-knuckled "hold tight til warmer weather" bit a little too far with my two weekend framing projects.
I put a crab and a bikini in a frame.
Remember when we went to the Chesapeake Bay last summer and the duckling won a dog toy for coming in second place in a crab race? Yeah, I framed it. I framed a dog toy that looks like a crab.
When I pushed him down into the glue, he squeaked.
Remember the time I made the birdie wear an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini?
Yep, I framed that, too.
Using a shadow box frame from Michael's, I glued a lovely piece of Rifle Paper Co. wrapping paper (that I picked up that time I found the back of my head in a book) and simply pinned the bathing suit in place using yellow-headed pins I used when I made this project. I didn't want to glue the suit into place, figuring the birdie will try to wear this again when she's 17. Heaven help me.
In case you were wondering what happens to me when I am vitamin D deficient, you're looking at it - things on my sweaters, things on my walls.
